More painted furniture

Today I used my free Glidden to paint a sofa table. I am *almost* happy with the results. Tomorrow, I plan to paint the side table, if I have enough black paint left. We will see.


First, some points:

• If you sent away for the free Glidden, I am sorry. I am not happy with this paint at all. I sanded and primed the table and it still took 4 coats. It still could use another coat (or 10) but I am leaving it as it is.
  
• I know that the walls are horrid. I am trying to talk Marty in to painting them, but he is a cheap bastard budget conscious, so thinks it is silly to spend money on a place that you rent. While I do agree with him to an extent, I also think it is silly to not spend a little $ to make the place you live nice.
• Yes, the ottoman is ugly. It was cheap ($150 for a well known name, good quality couch, chair and ottoman) and I will be slipcovering it soon.
• The picture is off center because it was hung for the piece of furniture that used to be there. I will fix it.
